At this year's festival we supplied 15 fully furnished yurts for sleeping accommodation plus a store yurt and a massage yurt. All the yurts were 18 foot diameter yurts with woodburning stoves. Half of these had been purchased by the site owners Pennards Hill Farm which overlooks the Festival site and has its own entrance to the event. Most of the preparation was done in the pouring rain and we were relieved when the furnishing process was completed and a blazing fire burning in each yurt. We are very grateful to Pennards Hill Farm for the opportunity to partner them in this project. Most yurts had either two double or four single beds (one yurt had 5). and were furnished with wood burning stove, bedside tables, chairs or benches, mirror, lanterns plus cozy rugs and cushions. The inhabitants had door keys and this added the privacy and security not easily achieved in festival accommodation. We talked to many of these customers who were, without exception, very positive about their yurt experience. The first picture below looks towards the festival site, a stunning panorama. The other images are of the yurt interiors showing stove, beds and furnishings.
